Pennsylvania Reciprocity!
Pennsylvania Signs Reciprocity Agreements with Florida and Kentucky

After 5 years of hard work, the Allegheny County Sportsmen's League was contacted by Pennsylvania Attorney General Mike Fisher on October 24, 2001 to confirm that his office has finalized two Reciprocity Agreements.  The Attorney General has announced that hose agreements have been signed with Florida and Kentucky.

The ACSL began working with the Attorney General in 1998 to have his office obtain as many reciprocity agreements as possible.  We have been in constant contact with him,  and his staff,  to find solutions to getting agreements.  This persistence has finally paid off, Pennsylvanian's can now legally carry in these states.

Both agreements read that, "(read each state) will recognize Pennsylvania licenses to carry concealed firearms by valid Pennsylvania license holders while said license holders are present in (read each state)."

In turn "The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will recognize valid (read each state) licenses to carry concealed firearms by valid (read each state) license holders while said license holder are present in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania."

We still have much, much more to do, and hopefully many more agreements will be signed in the near future.
