KC3 Annual Membership Meeting for 2001

This year's Annual Membership Meeting of the Kentucky Coalition to Carry Concealed is going to be held on March 17th, 2001 in the rooms of the Salato Wildlife Center on the Game Farm just outside of Frankfort, Ky. This facility is located on US 60 (Louisville Road) 1.5 miles west of the intersection of US 60 and US 127 on the west side of town. If you get lost, anyone in Frankfort can tell you how to get there! The meeting will start at 11:00 AM Eastern to give our members from the far reaches of the state time to get there, and will last until all our business is done.

We will start the meeting with a review of the events of the last year, then hold a discussion of our future plans for KC3. There will be a brief talk by Ed Monk to give you a sample of his seminar on the 2nd Amendment which we plan to assist him in presenting around the state this year as a public service, and then we'll move on to the election of our Board of Directors.

If you know of anyone who would be interested in serving on the Board there's still time to nominate them for that position. Send their name with a brief letter to us at PO Box 1269, Frankfort, Ky. 40602-1269. They must be a member in good standing at the time of their nomination and election to be eligible.

We hope that many of you will see fit to attend and to contribute your views and opinions on where we've been and where we're going as an organization. It seems that some of you have decided that since HB40 passed in 1996 that the fight is over and that we won. If you think that then you haven't been paying attention to events in this state or the nation either one! Our fight to be free and to preserve our heritage is NEVER going to be over, our enemies have NO intention of giving up, and we will ALWAYS need your participation to remain a vital grassroots outfit.

If you do plan to come please RSVP via email, phone or snailmail as soon as possible so that we have some idea of what we're going to need in the way of food and drinks for the simple buffet that we'll be providing to tide you over the midday.

We look forward to seeing you in March in Frankfort. It's your organization - please come out and stay involved in it!
