The 2006 Kentucky Coalition to Carry Concealed, Inc. Annual Meeting of the Membership

TEN YEARS OF LEGAL
CONCEALED CARRY
IN KENTUCKY!!

Can you believe that it has already been ten years since the carry of concealed weapons by law-abiding people was permitted in this Commonwealth?  Without all of the shoot-outs in traffic, gutters running red with blood, and everyday arguments turning into deadly encounters like the opponents of the law predicted, you wouldn’t even know this opportunity for individuals to better provide for their own defense even existed.  The 90,000 or so good citizens of this Commonwealth that have chosen to complete the training and subject themselves to other requirements in order to obtain a license to carry concealed weapons have proven that simply being armed does not make you dangerous or encourage lawlessness.  To the contrary, licensees seem to be much more law-abiding than the average population and we are all much safer thanks to their presence.

It’s Time to Celebrate!

The Annual Meeting of the Membership of the Kentucky Coalition
to Carry Concealed, Inc. is scheduled to take place beginning
at 11 AM on Saturday, May 20, 2006 in the classroom directly
opposite the Salato Wildlife Education Center.  The Center is on the grounds of the KY Department of Fish & Wildlife Game Farm located on US 60 near Frankfort.  From I-64, take exit 53B onto US 27 North, go 1.5 miles and turn left onto US 60 West.  From there travel 1.7 miles and look on your right for the Game Farm complex. From there, we will be just short of ½ mile on the right.

Door Prizes Galore!

Besides the conclusion of our 2005 Gun Raffle in which we are giving away a Smith & Wesson Model 500 “snub-nosed” .50 Caliber Revolver (YES! Tickets can be purchased right up until the drawing.), we will also be handing out numerous door prizes to the members present. We will have on hand at least one example of every “deadly weapon” identified by the Kentucky Revised Statutes, (within reason) and we will give them all away as door prizes. We are even giving away a new Taurus PT-111 Millennium Pro 9MM semi-automatic pistol!  In addition, we have passes for free range time, CASES of ammunition, holsters, free training certificates and more!  Well over $500 worth of goods available to members just for participating in YOUR organization!  We’ll have plenty of food and drink as well so mark your calendar today and plan to attend the 2006 Kentucky Coalition to Carry Concealed, Inc. Annual Meeting of the Membership! We hope to see you there!
