Ed Monk's Strategies for Providing a Positive Image for Supporters of Gun Rights
These are so good we just had to pass them along

Educate yourself on RKBA issues

Get friends and family to join organizations, pro-gun and professional organizations

Distribute literature anywhere you can put it

Convince friends of the correctness of our position

Take friends shooting

Wear and display RKBA clothes and emblems

Be a positive example - "come out of the closet"

Sponsor sports teams

Sponsor essay contests on the Bill of Rights

Boycott anti-gun businesses

Host shooting events and be sure to invite the media and politicians.

Reach out to minorities

Set up a letter writing table at shows and shooting events

Post billboards

Run newspaper ads

Offer free gun safety classes

Sponsor clean-ups of parks, highways, and public recreation areas

Donate books and magazines to libraries and doctor's offices

Use the "Sunshine Laws"

Form a "letter to the editor" club

Build connections and communications between state-level RKBA organizations

Hold a "gun case" rally. Just empty cases, but no guns. For chuckles, put a Bible in the case and when someone asks what's in the case, tell them "a constitutionally protected item."

"No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms."
-Thomas Jefferson
